The Corona crisis might also put an extra mental strain on you. The importance of careful guidance is therefore crucial. Marianne will guide you with many years of meditation experience, groundbreaking international and scientific expertise to develop more well-being, resilience, inner peace, self-care and compassion!
WHY THIS INDIVIDUAL MINDFULNESS TRAINING?
During the individual mindfulness training of Mindful State, there is more attention for you. The training is therefore more effective with more sustainable results. You can start right away and your (busy) agenda is taken into consideration. During a free of charge online intake, we discuss your motivation, goals and expectations. Then we decide, whether mindfulness is an appropriate intervention.
WORKING METHOD MINDFUL STATE
This individual mindfulness training is given in accordance with the official 8-week Jon Kabat-Zinn Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Training (MBSR). Check with your health insurance or employer for the refund conditions. Mindful State is a boutique mindfulness service provider. Personal, qualitative and experienced guidance are key. You can expect down-to-earth guidance and scientific literacy of the highest standard.

This individual mindfulness training is given by Marianne Smit, founder of Mindful State. She is a professionally certified mindfulness trainer in the highest standard cat. 1 VMBN, internationally educated and with a Masters’ background. Many years of (international) experience and expertise, qualitative teaching material and personal guidance ensure an enriching experience that will guide your for the rest of your life!
Mindfulness is for us all! Everyone can benefit. The training contributes to personal growth and a higher quality of life. Mindfulness meditation can also be considered as a mental workout. It is good for your brain! Mindful State always has a free of charge personal conversation with you beforehand. We will assess your goals and try to ensure an optimal and sustainable result.
You will receive the qualitative Mindful State training binder. This provides you with theory, knowledge and exercises. The booklet also contains tips, quotes, research, articles, inspiration and forms. You will also receive audio tracks with various meditations.
Mindfulness is a practical skill training. You get to work with meditations, relaxation and awareness exercises & theory to bring mindfulness into practice. Daily practice ensures the best result! You will be carefully guided by your mindfulness trainer in this process. This mindfulness training consists of the following aspects:
learn to switch between doing mode and being mode
dealing with thoughts and emotions
recognize mental and physical boundaries
(self) care & compassion
positive mental benefits
MINDFULNESS FOR TWO
It is possible to follow the individual mindfulness training with a family member, partner, girlfriend or friend. As long as it benefits your personal process and does not interfere with the effectiveness of the training. During an introductory meeting with both of you, it is discussed, whether this form is desirable.
The training is provided live online and interactively. Via an online connection and a computer, laptop or tablet, you have direct contact with Marianne from your own environment. So you can follow this mindfulness training anywhere in the Netherlands or from abroad!
It may be that your health insurer (partially) reimburses this mindfulness training. Check the Dutch Zorgwijzer for reimbursement.
In some cases, employers contribute in the context of sustainable employability, prevention, recovery (reintegration) or if you have a training budget.
Are you disabled or unemployed? Ask the Dutch UWV about the possibilities for reimbursement. You must be able to motivate thoroughly, why the mindfulness training can contribute to your recovery or finding work faster.
As a self-employed person, there are possibilities to state the mindfulness training as costs. This can yield up to 50% advantage. Ask your accountant or the tax authorities for the conditions.
Are you a caregiver? Some health insurers reimburse this MBSR training. Please check your health insurance.
